So You Want A Career in Athletics™ is a professional leadership development prgoram designed to expose girls ages 13-18 to career opportunities in sport. Female sport participation is at an all time high since the passage of Title IX however, roughly 93% of all sport leadership roles are held by men. The mission of So You Want A Career in Athletics™ is to strengthen the pipeline of female leaders in sport by educating girls on leadership opportunities in sport and enhancing mentorship opportunities by connecting girls with other female sport industry professionals.So You Want A Career in Athletics™ is a program of the Marc and Kiki Barnes Foundation.

    This convening of So You Want A Career in Athletics™ is specifically targeted to girls ages 13-18 and high school female coaches.The event features interactive workshops and question/answer sessions with leading female sport industry professionals and key inspirational messages.
